My dog has a weird bump and loss of hair on her chest?

i noticed tonight my dog has this bump and loss of fur, and it had some dried blood.its pink and inflamed..i'm not sure what it is. i washed the area and disinfected it and put antibacterial stuff on it..but i'm sure if this is something she needs to see the vet about.. if anyone has any ideas whether she was stratching or rubbed up against something or whether she was bit by something.

Definitely something to see the vet about. The vet can at least give you some pain medication and antibiotics that are safe for your dog to use, and tell you things to look out for, as well as maybe test for cancers if there's still a bump left.
I'm guessing an abcess! She may have had a grass seed in bedded in her skin that caused an infection. The vet will need to open it up so the pus can drain and give either antibiotics or an antibacterial cream.





Other wise it could be a bite.
Take your dog to the vet ASAP. It cold be a tumor or anything like that and could be potentialy dangerous. A vet will be able to give your more of an educated answer than any of us on here.
you should take your dog to the vet asap, it could be nothing but it could also be something more sinister, the vet will be able to tell you more when he has a look and give antibiotics etc
Could be cancer or maybe a flea allergy
