You really need to take your rat to the vet. Your pet is most likely dehydrated because there is not enough fluid in the fruit to keep her fully hydrated. This can be the cause to her ';drunk'; behavior but you won't know until you take your pet to the doctor. If she had an eye infection that was never treated this may have spread or maybe it's another symptom.





The point is, your PET, this animal that depends on you, is obviously sick and needs your help.

You need to take your rat to the vet ASAP! I know it can be expensive but if you don't it WILL die, soon. Your rat is very sick and there is still a chance it could die even if you do take it to the vet, but the sooner you take it the more of a chance it will survive. Your rat seems to have a sickness that affected all 3 of my rats. It's an upper respiratory illness. The infection can sometimes move into the ear giving them an ear infection and therefore messing up their sense of balance (hence the acting ';drunk';). It's pretty common in rats. The reason it's so dangerous is cuz the infection in their lungs quickly turns to pneumonia which can kill them in hours. Very sad. :( Anyway, like I said get your rat to the vet now! Oh, and until you get your rat to the vet you can put her cage in the bathroom and run the shower so that it's gets real steamy. It helps her breathe. Just make sure it doesn't get too hot.
