That cat needs put down.A stray at my home has a baseball size lump on his head and seeping from his ears with loss of hair on head?
It could be mange.

There is a way to cure this....if it's mange.

You could go to a livestock store (assuming you are an adult) and buy Ivermectin, which is used to treat cattle for parasites.

You could also put some in food for him/her, and that way you won't have to catch the cat.

It's really all up to you though.

Good Luck.
it sounds like cancer that he has scratched open, or an infected cyst that needs to be cut and drained. take him to a shelter and they will gie him vet care. or else he will probably die.
Call your animal shelter so they can catch it and put it down. Sorry
