What causes loss of hair, on your head, in patches?

lots of causes, go see a doctorWhat causes loss of hair, on your head, in patches?
This can be caused by stress %26amp; other factors, I suggest you see a doctor as soon as possible. They'll be able to prescribe you special medications. You should also have a scalp treatment done at least every 2 weeks(every week if it really bad). What the scalp treatment is is a special conditioner applied to the scalp, heated under a dryer or lamp %26amp; then massaged. The stimulation to the scalp will help promote hair growth.

Good luck :)

heredity
possibly ringworm or some other kind of fungus. SEe your doc or a dermatologist.
Could be a hormone imbalance. I know hypothyroidism can cause it. It can also be caused by stress and many disease processes. Arsenic poisoning will also cause hair to fall out.
lots of things can probably, i know of one which is thyroid problems
You may have alopecia, but you need to go to a dermatologist, or it may just be stress related.
